The short answer

What a stadium gets from ceramic window film.

The venue keeps the glass it already has, and the film cuts the heat and glare on the sun-loaded side while keeping the view. At AT&T Stadium, Epic’s own certified crews are installing 3M Ceramic Series 35 on the west end zone glass. On clear 1/4 in glass, 3M Ceramic 35 transmits 37% of visible light, rejects 55% of total solar energy, cuts glare by 58% and rejects 99.8% of UV, by 3M’s published data, with no mirror look and no glass replacement. Every Epic job gets the same four steps: every opening surveyed and measured, every piece cut in Epic Precision before the crew arrives, installed the Epic way, and an installed-opening record at closeout.

Hanging the samples.

Before a venue chooses a film, it needs to see it on its own glass. On October 9 Epic hung film samples on the stadium glass so the venue could judge clarity, tint and reflection on its own glass, from inside, the way a guest sees it.

A sample on the actual pane tells you whether the view out stays a view. The Epic van was on the plaza below while the samples went up.

Photographs on this page are Epic’s own and carry the Epic mark. No team marks appear, by design.

The process

How a stadium gets the Epic process.

Four steps, the same four a school gets. The building is bigger; the standard is not different.

1. Survey by opening

A Solutions Advisor walks the glass and measures every opening in PaneCast, Epic’s own estimating software. The measurement that prices the job is the one that becomes the pattern.

2. Cut in Epic Precision

Every piece is cut in Epic Precision — proprietary cutting process department, in place since 2023 with over half a million dollars behind it, and kitted in install order. A hand cut can leave a nick in the film edge, and a nick is where a film tears when it is ever asked to hold. The machine removes that.

3. Installed the Epic way

Clean edges to the frame, no gaps, no contamination, every pane inspected before the lift moves. Ceramic 35 is a solar film, so there is no attachment system on this job: the 3M Impact Protection Attachment goes on security film only. The crew is Epic Certified Installation Specialists, Epic employees, never subcontractors. How Epic trains and certifies.

4. Record at closeout

An installed-opening record for every pane: what went on, where, and when, for the building’s file and the warranty registration. Work is scheduled around the event calendar.

What this page will become

A completed project, when the last pane is signed off.

When the final opening is recorded and signed off, the before, during and after photographs and the video from the Dallas crew join this page, and it moves from "in progress" to Epic’s completed projects. Until then, this page is a log of work underway, not a completion claim.

FAQ

Questions about the stadium work

Does Epic work on stadiums and arenas?
Yes. Epic’s own certified crews are installing 3M Ceramic 35 on the west end zone glass at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, in fall 2026. A venue gets the same process as a school or an office tower: a survey by opening, film cut in Epic Precision, installed the Epic way, and an installed-opening record at closeout. Epic is the largest 3M dealer in the nation and installs nationwide with its own crews.
Why ceramic film on stadium glass?
Because it cuts heat and glare without a mirror look and keeps the view out. On clear 1/4 in glass, 3M Ceramic 35 transmits 37% of visible light, rejects 55% of total solar energy, cuts glare by 58% and rejects 99.8% of UV, by 3M’s published data. Ceramic film is a solar control product, not a security product, so it carries no forced-entry or bullet claims; no window film is bulletproof. See the 3M Ceramic spec card.
How does Epic schedule work in a live venue?
Around the event calendar. Work in a live venue is scheduled around events, and the daily log shows when the crew is on the glass. Every piece arrives cut and kitted from Epic Precision, so there is no cutting station on site.
Can a public venue buy through a cooperative contract?
Often, yes. Cities, counties, school districts and many publicly owned venues can buy Epic’s window film and installation through cooperative purchasing contracts, which replace a separate bid. Contract numbers are on the cooperative purchasing page; a Solutions Advisor can confirm which vehicle fits your entity.
