Customer story · Oklahoma City · state agency headquarters

Put out to public bid. Done start to finish.

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation put its headquarters out to public bid for heat, glare and fading. Epic won it, installed 3M Prestige on the atrium and entry glass and 3M film on the long skylight run, filmed the work, and went back to sit down with the property manager.

The building

A headquarters built around glass.

A two-story entrance curtainwall, clerestories, and an atrium under a long peaked skylight. Beautiful to work in, and on a summer afternoon in Oklahoma, the source of the heat, glare and fading the agency wanted gone.

The work

3M Prestige on the glass, 3M film on the skylights.

3M Prestige is non-metallic and close to clear, so the building looks the same from the street and the view out stays a view. On the skylights, Epic’s Certified Installation Specialists worked from lifts and scaffolding above the atrium. Every piece was cut before the crew arrived, in Epic Precision.
